Privacy Policy
Telematics Journal takes a minimal approach to data collection, consistent with a publication that regularly writes about what happens to drivers' data. This policy explains what we collect, why, and what we deliberately do not do.
Cookies
This site uses functional cookies only. These are strictly necessary for the website to operate, for example to remember your language preference between visits. We do not use analytics cookies, advertising cookies, tracking pixels or fingerprinting techniques. No third-party advertising networks run on this site.
What we collect
Our web server records standard technical logs, such as IP addresses and requested pages, for security and error-diagnosis purposes. These logs are retained for a short period and then deleted. If you email us, we keep your message and address for as long as needed to handle your enquiry.
What we do not do
- We do not build profiles of our readers.
- We do not sell, rent or otherwise transfer personal data to third parties.
- We do not use your data for marketing purposes.
- We do not combine server logs with any other data source.
Your rights
Under applicable data protection law, including the GDPR, you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of any personal data we hold about you. Given how little we collect, such requests are usually straightforward to fulfil.
Contact
For any question about this policy or your personal data, contact us at info@telematicsjournal.com. We aim to respond within a reasonable time and in any case within the statutory deadlines.
